Prospective Students

I am interested in working with students on statistical genetics and genomics, data science, computational methods, and scientific applications of AI.

Applicants who hope to pursue a PhD in the group are expected to have at least three months of research assistant experience with us before applying.

This requirement is meant to help both sides make a more informed decision. During this period, you should have time to:

  • Evaluate whether you are genuinely interested in our research directions.
  • Talk with current students and learn more about the group from the inside.
  • Understand more fully whether my advising style is a good fit for you.
